Interesting that so many failed yesterday. "Parer" is a word, one I'll probably not forget, but surely the correct term is "paring knife?" Certainly my mother had one and if I was asked would know exactly what it is. A "parer?" Not a clue.

Rant over.

Only one problem there. "Paring knife" has 11 letters, or 12 if you include the space. It
won't fit in the grid.
