I used to play indoor bowls and won many trophies, medals and money for that.
Ive also won 2 time trials.
Do they count or no?

Well the time trials definitely

The bowling should do aswell. 2 hours, sometimes 4 hours, standing around very bored.
I gave it up though, due to it being VERY VERY boring and i really didnt enjoy it.

I have won the club fixed wheel trophy a few times and was part of a county cycling team that thrashed the other 2 counties we were racing against, I did a pb in that race as well

I also won the neighbouring clubs low gear event a couple of years ago and also beat our club champion in the same race,,,, very , very satisfying indeed

Harleston Magpies up until last year. Haven't properly picked up a stick since my accident in January though.

I don't think I ever won, or even placed, in some bollocksy distant school event either.

I did once win a Status Quo album (Blue For You) in a television contest though. They read my name out and everything

I was in the Junior RAOC cross country team that beat the Junior Parachute Regt team in 1984.

Swimming was my thing as a youngster, have hundreds of medals in a shoe box somewhere. Won lots of county championships and came 3rd in the nationals in the early 90's 50m and 100m Breaststroke. Also won a few of the serious competitions at my Golf Club, some clay shooting trophies, a couple of junior fly fishing trophies and a National Creativity in Science & Technology Award.

Nothing for cycling... maybe I should be on a different forum!
