Having a go at building

Bought this frame on eBay ( a bit of an impulse buy) with the intention off building myself a MTB based commuter.
Will update topic when things happen but not planning to have this finished for a few months yet.

Am going to replace the bottom bracket. But havn't decided what to do with the frame could either touch up the paint chips that are there or a friend at work suggested having the paint removed and having it powder coated

That's up to you, but it's a good frame to get going with.

Is it gonna be new or used parts, single speed or perhaps 2x10, monster tyres or slicks, a bit bling or black and stealthy?

I'd stay get it dipped and powder coated the colour range is mind bending at our local coaters sky's the limit would look great bright yellow or bright green

It gives you a warm feeling when you make progress, however err... incremental!

Good, solid frame; should last you years.

isn't powdercoating only suitable for steel frames? Yours looks like (is) Alu 7005 or something similar.

you can powdercoat alloy wheels so I can't see aluminium frame being a problem
