alcool a bruler. It's white, not purple. I'd try any fair sized hypermarche.

Glad it's going well.

I found using the Alcool with my MSR that it burnt quite 'fiercly' and always went out, although 'just' as i'd managed to get the pasta soft enough. Maybe it will burn better on the Triangia.

France certainly is a great country for cycling. Flat open areas, mountains, quiet roads, curtious drivers, good food, wine...

Thanks for all the good wishes. Fuel suggestion worked well, thank you. Since arriving in bedoin the rain has fallen and mountain winds have blown hard tent is standing up to it all well. Finally hot up Ventoux yesterday really enjoyed it. Off to orange in the morning bus back on Sunday  will post some pics on my return..

Meths in an MSR? Aren't they all hydrocarbon fuelled, ie petrol, gas, kerosene, diesel/jet fuel if you've got an XGK? Trangias are supposed to burn on alcohol - they're a rather different design, not pressurised.
