Hayes disc brakes compatible with Shimano rotors?

I think i already said this. You can mix and match rotors and calipers form different companies BUT they won't work as well as they are supposed to.


AS for Pads having a sandpaper effect, sounds a bit daft to me. How can pads across brands be that different to have that differing effects on differing rotors??? A brake pad is a brake pad is a brake pad. There is very little difference across brands, other than shape.
