Lol, laugh away mate. I didn't land on anything nasty and It only cost me a Garmin 800 display and Taz 800 front light. Not too mention my pride :P

Actually your right.. I paid a bit closer attention the next time I went out and I do tend too lean on the bars. It might explain the numb hands and triceps pump. I did have the bike fit too so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hehe cheers, I only showed a few of the puddles. I didn't want to make the vid too boring so didn't show a lot of them. Also, these are quite shallow.

Check this out if you want big puddles. This was my commute a week ago! I got through the first one but didn't actually make it through the second. Which was actually a ford! :P

Lol, yup, exactly, like when you'r doing 36+ mph down a hill and you suddenly notice the 5 inch deep 2 foot wide pot hole 3 inches from your front tyre!

If you notice at 20 I was actually left of center but what you don't see is what I see and it's numb nuts coming in on my left with complete disregard! forcing me onto the paint in an evasive maneuver. I could have got off and pushed the bike around but it wouldn't have stopped him from still coming through and trying too take me out.

I thought I recognised the ford,its just down from the Roman Wall and then I read your location which confirms my ageing memory. I admire your confidence but from my recumbent trike I would not have fallen off but drowned instead.
