Depends on AHead vs "tradititional". If AHead you may need an adjustable stem if you've run out of steerer tube. Do you know which variety you have??

I found the full spec on my bike online.....it says
Stem: stubby 3 bolt extreme
Handlebars: aluminium black riser

Does that tell you anything?

Seems you have AHead. Is there any spacer between the top of where your stem clamps on and the very top of the steerer? If so move the spacer below the stem to raise the bars. Else try one of these type things http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...ad+Stem+2013&gclid=COCO6dW5_roCFYzItAodNwsAKA where the length needs to be similar to what you already have
