"Guys, someone get me a ladder... I think I might be stuck!"

Brilliant images, I have to confess I do like the whole 'Urbex' thing... but that is just taking it to another level (get it.... hehehehe)

Rather them than me - I suffered from Acrophobia (a fear of heights) when I wore platform boots in the 1970s!

Did you fall off a diving board in Guernsey? ;)

Some great photos there. I'm imagining now what it'd be like to jump from those buildings. What speed would you hit the ground i wonder?
About 120 mph at terminal velocity, depends on how high they are but some of those look pretty tall. I would think it would be over 100 mph for a lot of them.

That's a bit obscure ... I Googled it and found a reference to 'Dinnerladies', a show that I never watched. Apparently Norman blamed his aGrophobia on falling off the diving board.

Not even I get the reference, and I'm from the island!

There are some simply stunning pictures in there

And there was only one that left me feeling slightly dizzy - the rest I could handle

this was the one...

Nope still makes me dizzy even when it is small... think it is more the lens that has been used than the height!

I have often stood in still conditions at the top of local hills which are about as high as those buildings, only to be suddenly hit by severe gusts of wind. It would only have taken one such gust and our intrepid heroes would have had a scarily long trip down to the ground ...
