Mme Fouet will be holding final interviews tomorrow:thumbsdown:

Strangely enough Mme Fouet put it down to nerves and took her on.

Today we had a trial for the new café, attached to the "Tropical House" down here. Newly trained waiters/esses, with "The Boss" and I, various CH. HF workers and family members acting as customers. Nervous new waitress comes over to our table, takes order and departs. Returns with two cups containing what we ordered, places tray on table, lifts cups, places on table in front of us and again departs with tray, which was still holding two saucers, bowl of sugar and jug of milk.:banghead:

Waiter/Waitress service generally annoys me in this country TBH They have no idea how to serve and generally its seen as such a 'low' job there's no pride taken - a decent service is always tipped well after all.

I walked out of a pub at the weekend as after first being told I couldnt get a drink at the bar (table service), so was then seated and attended to by someone who then instead of getting my drink as asked then started taking the orders of a table of 8 next to me. Useless bint so I strolled out:thumbsup:

My Aunt had a macaw with a trick, it would loop a piece of string over the backs of two chairs, then "tightrope walk" between them on its second or third passage it would stop half way and repeat the words a US soldier had said when seeing it during world war 2, "Damn difficult but bloody ludicrous".
