Head or Heart?

Please help......I'm stuck choosing between 2 bikes.
I love the geometry shape of the Specialized Ruby Elite altho not over struck on the colour scheme. I also like the Cannondale Synapse 5. Both bikes are 105 which is what I'm after and the Specialized is a carbon frame but I've never really wanted a carbon frame bike.

So my dilemma is do I go for the bike that I totally love the shape of or do I go for the one with the more suitable frame for my riding?

I'm not in any club riding. I just ride out by myself

I'm only 5'2" at full stretch so very limited to wsd bikes. I find it very hard to try bikes out because most LBS don't have such small bikes in stock

But if your heart keeps saying yes - talk to your head until you persuade it!!!!!

There isn't any one particular reason to be honest but I don't think I ride enough to warrant spending the money on a carbon frame

IMHO, nope. I've never missed having a cf frame since I went back to alu

If you desire it enough, and can afford to pay household bills etc... treat yourself. You will appreciate it every time you ride it. If you go for economy and choose a bicycle you don't love, you will never get the same joy from it.

Just like choosing a partner - it has to be head and heart..!
