If you desire it enough, and can afford to pay household bills etc... treat yourself. You will appreciate it every time you ride it. If you go for economy and choose a bicycle you don't love, you will never get the same joy from it.
Just like choosing a partner - it has to be head and heart..!
And should one test ride both potential partners, to reverse the simile, before deciding which one to go out with?
Just be sure not to tell the bike you settle down with.Defini
Bicycles and potential partners.....yup - all in favour of a test ride or two before you commit!![]()

Glad to report my wife is not a bike!
Reminds me of a song by Mike Harding "Poor Uncle Mike, his wife she was the village bike, She'd a basket, a bell and handlebars as well. for a bottle of cider anyone could ride her....."

Please help......I'm stuck choosing between 2 bikes.
I love the geometry shape of the Specialized Ruby Elite altho not over struck on the colour scheme. I also like the Cannondale Synapse 5. Both bikes are 105 which is what I'm after and the Specialized is a carbon frame but I've never really wanted a carbon frame bike.
So my dilemma is do I go for the bike that I totally love the shape of or do I go for the one with the more suitable frame for my riding?
^^^^ This^^^^With a decision like this I wonder which one you would regret not buying.
