Morning all, I'm currently looking for a new bike I've got a 10 year old Voodoo Bizango and want something with a bit more capacity to upgrade this time. Currently looking at planet x's Silk Road and Whippet options but have no idea on carbon Vs titanium frames.
Anyone got either bike or any suggestions for different options? Thoughts greatly appreciated.
For context:
My riding is fairly tame live in Manchester so miles of Canals etc... before I hit proper countryside and I think for now ridgid will do me fine. Am middle aged and getting fitness back after a long time out and getting to longer rides rather than charging down technical trails is what interests me. Considered full gravel but am set in my flat bar ways at this point.
Budget is about £1500 and I want something I can keep for a long time and upgrade if I feel like it.
