headphones in while cycling, lets get some opinions!

I can't be bothered to read all the thread but my 2p worth is why listen to am ipod when you could listen to birds and other wildlife noises around you and the sound of your tyres on the asphalt........... music to my ears.

I would just be hearing wind/abuse/engine noise.
My bike runs pretty quiet, so i dont hear much noise from that, and im normally going pretty pretty fast so dont hear much.
So instead, i listen to some music and go along. Sometimes drumming on the handlebars.
