Heads up: cheap camera memory

Quite a huge difference between our two recording times I cannot get 2 half hour rides on 4gb.

I tested out a 30 minute ride and mine is 1.85gb for that duration.I guess the extra pixels cost memory, as mine is definately 640x480.

What class card is it though?

Class 2.

MD80s clone I have does 1gb per 40 minutes.

However, I have read that the original ones do about 1Gb/hour and the clones about 4Gb/hour.

Mine is class 4, whatever that means. At least in as much as that is what is printed on the card. It came as a bundle with the camera from ebay.
