Not to be outdone by their German counterparts, Aldi have upped the stakes, and are selling some bike stuff, from the 24th September. They have a quite nice looking soft shell jacket going, and (believe it or not) a bargain Turbo trainer

Yes i have heard that too, if its with a cadence sensor i might see if i can get one under the wifedar assuming they have one in stock when i can nip down.

I wouldn't be paying £30 for a set of Aldi bib tights. I'd rather get Planet X clubman tights for £15 a pop. The £10 bib tights I got in Lidl seem very good but their offers seem to sell out very fast in popular sizes.

I called in for a tool bag and thought it would be rude not to buy a pair for a tenner
Got plain black this time last year for £10 and ok
medium were up my legs and tight round the knees and crotch though lol but managed to go back later and exchange for a large , still not tried on. Probably get more on ebay for them if they don't fit got a pair of socks and a tyre sealant too.

Yes...I'd rather have had size large but will just have to lose some more weight !

Agree on the black thing, for commuting duties. The look on the driver's face as they realise how stupid it is to say SMIDSY to someone decked out in a bright colour with lights is amusing.

I use an old Aldi winter softshell in blue and a Mountain Warehouse waterproof cycling jacket over the winter.

So good that in fact I bought a second pair today along with a pair of cycling gloves. Never been in Lidl before this week. I think I may be giving them a closer look from now on.

That's the way. I've got all of my winter kit sorted for less than the price of some places socks.
