This website uses data feeds from various US agencies and plots them on zoomable maps. You can get plots for various 'altitudes', and get data for specific locations, or just let it figure out where you are.

It's also pretty, hypnotic, and an amazing demonstration of what can be done these days with all the information sources there are out there.

We've finally updated to IE8 but it won't work or freezes on a lot of sites. For example, I can see strava if I go in via a link (try directly it freezes) but I cant see the detail anyway!

We're sill struggling with the Windows crowd who haven't moved to IE11. Out of interest (work) what's to stop you downloading Chrome or Firefox, can they really tie you down that tightly ?
