Tri bars and a TT position like Bradley can help.
Legs like Bradley would help even more, but al I've managed so far is the sideburns.

I always take a positive view as I know that if I have a headwind going into work I'll have a tail wind on the way home. But the wind direction always reverses before I leave the office.

I'll admit to not being your typical commuter. However people say head winds are bad weather. There's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate equipment & bad mental attitudes.

I'm not keen on headwinds but I don't change my route. It adds an extra 5-15 mins onto the journey depending on how much it takes out of me. And its a strange feeling having to cycle downhill into a headwind. They do leave me feeling tired at the other end. I find blustery cross winds more dangerous though.

Headwinds are frustrating but that's all.

Cross winds are another matter.

There's a roundabout on my way to work that is surrounded by tower blocks. On windy days this creates the most evil cross wind that can suddenly shove me from one lane to another.

On really windy days i have to get off and go via the crossing as it's so unsafe.
