Sad news, another figure from my childhood who encouraged us all to look up.
TV astronomer Heather Couper passes away

Very sad indeed. One of the reasons i occasionally gaze under the stars with my telescope with my kids. It really gets their imagination going and mine to be honest...

Awww, that's sad. She was always very captivating and informative. I was obsessed with space travel and astronomy as a kid, and she was always fun.

I think I even had a little bit of a pre teen crush on her and her bouncy hair.
