if your bike is well lubed up and looked after. A couple of bounces to shake off the water and will be fine.

Spent around 30 mins cleaning mine at weekend,(Secteur) but will be on the hybrid tomorrow as it's gonna be wet me thinks, full mudguards make a massive difference to keeping the bike clean.

Who cares about the showers, have you seen the temperature forecasts?

It's going to be 5 degrees at 6am on Friday!

5 DEGREES!

I cannot tell you how happy this makes me.

Finish Line Pro Ceramic - brill stuff.

Wet rides, let bike dry for a short time whilst you get clean/dry, wipe crap off chain with rag, then lube then a quick wash of the bike, especially rims and pads. Done.

i've yet to getmudgaurds, i know they are a must lol.
what lube would you use on your chain potsy?
Not the best person to advise on lube tbh, using generic cycle oil I found in the back of the utility cupboard, must be 20 years old:smile:
Once that's gone will be using whatever I can cadge from work(Engineering site)
I think as long as you regularly put something on it,and it's not running dry then you should be OK.
