Helicopter Tape

I'm thinking of applying some tape to my frame, it breaks my heart to see the ever growing number of scuff marks and chips and I'd just like to add that little bit of extra protection. Im concerned that I wont be able to remove the tape if applied incorrectly (i.e. air bubbles/ creases etc).Does anybody know if the tape can be easily removed???

Comes of easy enough if you warm it up with a hairdrier.
