Hellish!

Tough ride in this morning. 7 miles of full on headwind, with no letup, at 6 in the morning.
Rain stinging my face. I can deal with getting soaked, it's only water after all. But i can't stand the wind.
Hope everyone esle had a better journey than me!

It was throwing it down today on my commute. I so rather I'd been on my bike rather than having to sit on a train in wet clothes. Seriously even though the road outside my house looked like a river I would rather have cycled in. At least I get to change to dry clothes and have a shower at work if I cycle

I was soaked within seconds of setting out this morning. But at least the wind was with me rather than against me.

I dont mind the headwind if I dont get wet on the way home.

I have been off the bike for near 3 weeks with a dodgy knee. Today I was back on it.....!!!
A bit of torrential rain and some blustery winds will not keep me off my bike.

Gonna be a vile commute home too...

Only since Tuesday but meant to be off the bike for two weeks. Very tempted to break doctors orders next Tuesday and cycle in if a long weekend of rest does me any favours.

+1 i do not mind getting wet on the way home, its when you get wet on the way in and have nowhere to dry your clothes , cold damp lycra is no fun.

I got to wrap up quite nicely, tested my new bib tights combined with my old wet weather gear kept me pretty dry. I also get to have a hot shower and change clothes when in work. Just as an extra nice treat I have ordered a new wet weather jacket and trousers bring it on....
