Not technically a new member but thought I would come say hi again.
Been in a pretty bad place for the last 4 months, long story short ended up with sepsis and nearly died, been off work and cycling while I recovered. Thankfully finally healed and ready to get my life back.
Had my first ride out yesterday took my 12 year old daughter with me so we went slow but felt amazing to be back on my bike, even if I am now knackered realising I am so unfit now after so much time off. Can't wait to get going regaining my strength and speed.
