Hello everyone! How can I get my balance back? 🚲

I have a 20” Etrike. I used to cycle a lot but due to a movement disorder
my balance is not good, riding my Etrike on smooth surface is OK but having problems on the cul de sac in front of our house. Not a level surface. Any ideas on getting my balance back.

Hello @Ellie Jane I'm afraid I don't know much about trikes. Is yours an upright one or more of a recumbent?

I think there are a few people on here with trikes who may be able to help you. It'll be a shame if you can't use it.

Hi Anne, thank you for your reply…I have an Adult 20” trike not a recumbent. When I cycle on a flat, open area I do well. However when I cycle on our quiet street, a lot of uneven areas, I kind of freeze up as it is so very different and I feel out of control. I just wondering if anyone else
had experienced this with a Trike.

The only time I've ever ridden a trike, I thought it had a mind of it's own. I couldn't get it to go in the direction I wanted! So it may not be about balance, but some kind of technique, but I can't help further.
