Joined the forum because it looked a nice friendly place and everyone seems helpful .
Until 12 months ago I had not done any cycling since my early twenties when I had a 'Sun' five speed racer, anyway I`m getting long in the tooth now with a bit of a belly and a pair of creaking knees!.
The knee problem has got worse over the last five years or so and my doctor has advised me to loose the belly and take up cycling, Apparently cycling strengthens the leg muscles without putting too much pressure on the joints!.....so here I am.
I have some advice to ask but I will post in the correct thread.
