Thank you for accepting me. I hope I can be useful, even though my experience is limited.
I've been cycling for about 2 years now and I'm really loving the local West Lancashire countryside, seeing places at a speed that I can appreciate. I'm 65 and last July I entered a 54 mile charity bike ride for Claire House Children’s Hospice, I rode from Liverpool (through the mersey tunnel) to Chester and back again, loved every minute of the day and raised over a £1000 for the charity, I'm doing the ride again this year too.
Cycling has given me a better perspective to my life and it gives me plenty of time to think and lots of exercise too.
