I've had a British Eagle Trailbreaker MTB sitting in my shed for about four years (since I learnt to drive
). Finally got back in the saddle last June only for the bike to be stolen in the beginning of August.
Took me till mid September to get the funds for a replacement, a Claud Butler Urban 300 (2009). Had to borrow my brother-in-laws MTB for the Mayor London Skyride. I had the CB for less than 12 hours before it was stolen from a locked shed!!!
This time the bike was insured and the insurance co have agreed to pay out. Currently awaiting a deliver (fingers crossed) of a Specilised Globe Vienna 3 (2010). Then I'll be back on the peddles.
Hoping to do a JOGLE next August - wish me luck
