Hello from a Scouser in Manchester!

Hi everyone!

My name's Jonny. I'm from Liverpool and study here in sunny Manchester, where I cycle 2 miles to/from Uni a day as well as the odd 10 mile ride!

I joined as I've signed up for the Great Manchester Cycle and am looking around for tips to increase my speed on the road!

I'm glad - I must say I was originally worried that even with the miles I'd just be able to do further, but at a slower pace

there is nothing at all wrong with doing a long ride at a slower pace, this should build up your endurance so when you wanna push yourself, you should be able to do a bit further
