Ha, well all my family find it funny that I'm doing the Great Manc Cycle following PL trophy from Etihad to Old Trafford. Might just go past and go to Anfield :P

Hello from Manchester city centre .

As a new cyclist I've spent a lot of time around the quiet streets of Fallowfield (and the shared usage path off Moseley Road) trying to convince myself that drivers aren't on a mission to mow me down . Not brave enough to cycle down Wilmslow Road though!

As a new cyclist I've spent a lot of time around the quiet streets of Fallowfield (and the shared usage path off Moseley Road) trying to convince myself that drivers aren't on a mission to mow me down . Not brave enough to cycle down Wilmslow Road though!

It can take a while to get confident enough. If you want a quiet place to 'train' the cyclepath through Fallowfield is pretty good. I've started to get confident down Wilmslow Road - it's all about judging when the buses want to pull out from stops!
