I live in Hitchin and work in London and commute from Kings X to various places, I did well over 1500 on a £35 mtb with semi slicks last year, it recently fell apart and now have a 2nd hand £45 peugeot mtb. The reason for cheap bikes - it sleeps at the station overnight.
