Hi everyone,
newbie here from Tooting, SW London.
36yr old, French, chain smoker and keen golfer.
Took up cycling in London 3yrs ago once I got fed up with the Northern Line (didn't take long) and I haven't looked back since.
Cycling has been almost exclusively restricted to commuting over that time. About 8 miles to get to work in about 30 mins every day.
However I'm now looking at broadening my horizons and get into some form of off-road biking. Maybe cyclocross or cross-country -whatever the latter means, I've only come across the term recently.
Anyway, I discovered a crack in the frame of my beloved Dahon Cadenza two weeks ago so have been looking for ideas to put the parts to good use on a different frame (maybe an old Kona or Orange steel frame?), and that's how I stumbled on this site.
That's it for now. Looking forward to sharing info and chatting away.
