Hi all,
Got back into cycling 4 months ago after having to give up sailing because of a bad back.
Decided to get an electric bike to do the 22 mile commute, and purchased a Kudos King which is mountain bike style, and very bike like to ride. I can usually ride a little faster than the assisted speed which is up to 15.5mph, and can usually average 15mph for most journeys.
Suitably enthused I got my Rockhopper hardtail serviced and new cables all round, and started using that on alternate days, and also have a couple of training circuits I use at the weekend, one ten miler round the local moors, and a longer 28 miler including Cheddar Gorge.
Next step is to get a road bike and start planning longer events next year, but I may be getting a little to enthusiastic for my own good. Just been thru my 60th, and I get very tired/dizzy on the big climbs.
cheers,
Alan
