Im new here hoping to get some insight into the cycling world and try new things, I ve tried alot so hopefully I can share some things that worked and didn't work with you all.

Hi Cycledude - Mrs Uncle Phil and I were in SA just last week, and for three weeks before that. We toured from Cape Town eastwards through the Overberg and back along the Whale Coast. It was hot - but great.

Maybe we ran into you? Perhaps you were one of the many cyclists we saw training for the Cape Argus? You'll have spotted us if so because we were riding Moultons.

Hi. I'm riding the Argus in March. I'll be in the AA start group. Can't wait! I did it in 4.59 last year with half an hour for stops, a puncture etc so am hoping to improve on that this year.

I lived and worked in SA during the 80's .. in Hoedspruit

That was quite a hot place, but enjoyable none the less.

Am from King Williams Town in the E. Cape but the last 15 yrs have been in Sunny England :-)
