Hello all.
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I own 5 bikes, all customized. I'm as old as my name suggests. Been riding bicycles for over 60 years. Former tool and die maker, mechanical designer, manufacturing engineer, etc., so I do all my own repairs.
My bikes include some folders for the city and some old "racers" from the 70's and 80's, mostly for the frames since they are modded. I just got rid of my mountain bike, since I don't really have mountainous terrain to ride in Florida. I'm not a fan of architected mountain bike trails in flat areas. I never seem to be alone enough to try anything without worrying about someone coming up behind me.
Surviving cars in the city is a new experience, but as challenging as riding my old mountain trails.
