Newbie here!
Morning everyone, became aware of this site via an article on the BBC News pages about helmet cams and decided to check in.
Am a commuting cyclist mainly with the occasional jolly on the mountain bike.
Commute from Stoneleigh in Epsom (KT19.....) to Clerkenwell in London (EC1R 0JH), a daily round trip of 30miles +/- route variation.
Currently doing the journey to work in about 1hr 10, and the return trip around 1hr 20. Always takes longer in the winter months so well looking forward to the Spring/Summer.
Ride a hybrid, a Trek 7.2FX which I've had for 14 months now. Realised when looking at other threads here that I really need to change the tyres as they are the same ones since new!! In fact it's all original parts other than brakes.
Have made a real point with this bike to look after it so it seems to repaying the gesture by holding together well so far.
