I've just checked in after lurking for a little while. I've never been a cyclist, other than a commute to work for a few years and in my youth as transport, before motorcycles. I'm retired and would like to explore locally more, I tried an e-bike for a while, but the battery gave out and I thought I might try pedal power instead, though we do have some big hills here.
I bought a well used Dawes Ambassador Heritage (@ 2017 vintage) cheaply just to see how I get on, it's heavy and I'm unfit, but will give it a go!
