Hello there
I'm afraid I've only joined as I'm hoping to be reunited with a pair of vintage bikes that are family heirlooms and accidentally ended up in a charity shop sometime last year.
Do you know anyone who bought an old bicycle from a charity shop in Nailsworth, Glos last year?
The first one I'm looking for is a red/burgundy ladies bike with unusual semi-dropped handlebars. It was given to my mother as a 13th birthday present back in the 1950s. It was then passed on to me when I was a teenager and I loved it because it was a bit different from everyone else's bikes. (I was a funny kid). Due to a relationship breakdown it ended up in a charity shop without my knowledge.
A similar fate met my yellow and black Sun Superlite which was bought by my uncle with the contents of his first pay packet in 1957.
I would love to get my bikes back as they have great sentimental value to me.
If anyone has any information please do get in touch.
