New to the forum, so roll up, roll up, the drinks are on me, for one night only

I have been peeking in on this forum for a while, so decided that I should join really.

About me, well I've been riding bikes more years than I care to recall. ;)

I only have four bikes, a Ribble winter trainer/everyday bike, a Scott CR1 Pro, a Scott Scale 20 MTB and a custom made, Reynolds 853 Brian Rourke Audax bike. Of the road bikes, which ones the best do you think?

Finally, I'm in Redditch, Worcs, but would never admit that in public. ;)

Looking forward to catching up with a few of the locals on here.

You've tricked me into looking at Alan Wicker's profile now - he'll think I'm a stalker.

Alan W, welcome to the forum - the worst bike is the Reynolds 853 Brian Rourke Audax bike, I'll take it off your hands and save you putting it in your wheelie-bin...

I also have a old Holdsworth 531c frame up in the loft that I used to race on, God only knows why I am keeping it?

Thanks, but I'm more of a nuts man myself, especially after a pint or three.

Race, never that good, not bad at the longer distance TT in my fitter days but now, like to get out do the miles but its taking me longer and longer recover.

Got back on in April this year after 15 years or so and I am loving it. Done a couple of 100 km audax in Angus, commute 4 days a week and I'm set fair for the winter.
