Hello
I am hoping that someone can help in identifying this bike please.
My daughter bought it as used in 2016 B'Twin 6061 custom Mountain/Marathon/Trathlon bike, which she used successfully for triathalons. It is in good condition but she needs to sell it since she hasn't been able to ride for a few years now, but it is still a lovely ride & is in good condition.
I cannot find anything like it. It probably pre-dates Decatathlon's ownership. It has: Truvativ FiveD crank, 24 gears with SDram dual drive with 3 selectors gears for terrain and 8 grip gears. Wheels are Snyper Rigida; tyres are 26 x 1.35 Schwable Kojak; aluminium vp 505 alloy pedals & Miranda 3 brakes . The weight of the bike is 12.2Kg & it appears to have a "Rockrider" type frame. Disc brake at front. The decals on the bike say"road" & "custom 6061"

I am trying to get a reasonable valuation to sell it for her, but everytning I am looking at varies between £80 - £250.

Is the "custom" decal a clue that it is a hybrid that was made to order.

If it was a standard model, does anyone have any idea what it is &/or, what would be a reasonable sale price for it.

Many thanks.

Your bike looks in decent condition and I’m sure it rides well. Unfortunately the bike market is on its backside at the moment, decent bikes sell for nothing, a great buyers market for sure but not so good for the sellers.
I think you’d be lucky to get your low valuation of £80. If you are selling on an auction site, maybe start it at £50 and see how you go.

Many thanks. She paid £170 in 2016 & thought that was a bargain at the time! Maybe should have sold it during Covid?!

@Glasaus I agree with the previous posts. It looks like a very nice bike but it's ten years old. I'd be happy to get £50, to get more you're relying on someone who doesn't know the bike market turning up. To lose £120 on the value over ten years is not unexpected.

Ignore the "custom" decal, loads of manufacturers put that on there

It's nothing fancy but nothing terrible, I remember seeing them at the time and thinking they were a pretty cool and unusual design; bear in mind that some people will consider it a "bike shaped object", which it definitely isn't, B'Twin are well respected.

Stick it up for sale for £80, have a price that you're prepared to go as low as.
