I'm a lifelong Londoner, learned to ride around Edith Grove and the Embankment in the 1970's on scrappy bikes with buckled wheels.

I'm now older and have two bikes, a MTB hybrid and er I didn't need another so have just bought a Brompton P line and am spending too much money on extras and have not taken it out of the house yet.

I'm good. Looking to commute some on my Brompton but it's cold so I'm staying on the Underground.

Indeed. Those small wheels aren't good for riding down the stairs and escalators.
