Yeh, halfords had none of the Boardmans left, 2016 come out next Friday. Popped to my LBS, owner was spot on, mainly stocked Giant and Merida. Had some decent deals in 25% off 2015 models. Couldn't have a test ride though as it's currently chucking down up here.

Yeh I'm from the NE, not too far from South Shields.

Ended up getting a Giant Roam 3, being delivered today, was torn between the Roam 2 and 3 difference being the colour and disc brakes. Oh and £130 in price ultimately the Roam 3 should be more than ample for 3.5mile commute.
