Hi everyone,
Just a quick hello from sunny Newcastle. Comp,eye novice, but have got the bug from my son and currently have 3 projects.

1 1950s Humber
2 1960sTriumph
3 1950s Triumph with rod brakes

Hoping to pick a few people's brains and just enjoy the community

Hi and.
I remember quite clearly my first bike (with rod brakes). I was immensely proud of it.
It cost me 18 guineas from Curry's who used to sell bikes then. I paid for it @10 shillings and sixpence a week doing a paper round and evening delivery boy.
I can't say if it was a Triumph though.

Thanks guys, I have just finished stripping the parts off the Humber. Looking forward to getting it stripped and repainted. Will post some pictures in the vintage part as and when I an.
