Hello Everyone

Just getting back into cycling after a 10 year layoff due to a back operation. Had some trouble finding a bike that was comfortable but finally settled on a Trek 7.3FX, changed the handlebars to some Trekking Pro bars for a more upright ride and its all good so far, so good in fact that the drive train is being changed this week to XT. Only using it for the daily commute at the moment from Islington to Docklands but can see that changing as the weather improves.
Looking forward to learning from the wealth of experience here.

Welcome to CC, Oldgit (there are plenty of us them on here).

Get stuck in on the forum and get out and about on your bike. A new/next one isn't too far away!

I have a 7.3FX as well and while it won't break any records (at least not with my 18st on it) it's a decent all-rounder and should be fine for longer weekend rides.
Hope your back's sorted now, 10 years out of action sounds bad.
