and can recommend it. Obviously, a bit more expensive than some but the increased price brings you better resolution (great for number plates) and none of that odd wave motion effect that seems to afflict cheaper models.

All the yellow bits show the brackets and the red are the straps.
I use the two long straps (with the thin ends) to run the length and width. Its rock solid.
I also use a piece of cut card to help line up the camera (as I was frustrated with getting home and finding a file full of footage of the floor or the sky...no laser sight lke the HD Hero)
The Muvi does have some downsides (I have considered an upgrade to the countour HD or the Go Pro HD hero...both give really smooth and detailed footage)
Main down sides are that its frame rate is a little slow, which means that fast movements are not picked up as smooth footage and feel a little jerky
Also, its sometimes a little tricky to decipher if it is still on or has a full card or a fault (both light symbols are similar)
In addition, the colours are quite harsh, When I ski it has issues picking up the snow and White against the dark skys...lots of adjusting and blurring, but for riding around its really good
Lastly, it has let me down a few times buy starting, and then immediatley stopping (1 min later) once I have it on my head when its too late so I to tell, I only notice this when I get to my destination and realise...never missed anything important thankfully.
On the plus side
Its dead cheap, very robust (BUT NOT AT ALL WATERPROOF, so not a winter cam without the waterproof pack) and way good enough quality to record numberplates and faces. Also the lower frame rate generates pretty small, manageable files (unlike the HD cams which can create massive GB files per hour of recording)
Dont be fooled into thinking the gator is a waterproof cover, its not, you would need a proper waterproof case to sort that issue
Check out mu channel for low light, cycling and bright light conditions (also the cChessington vid highlights the jumpy frame rate)

Pleasure.
Be sure to buy the sports mount pack (in the white box) as this has all the required straps and brackets to mount onto a helmet
Also, consider buying an upgraded SD card, Thomas recommended this to me and it improved the image quality a lot. The standard Card (that the unit ships with) does not seem to write at the speed that the camera can capture, so the image often comes out a little "wobbly" or "wavey" as it compresses.
A faster card removes this and results in much clearer footage.
