I was just looking at that article on the new Charge Plug range. Hadn't realised they were in Somerset, so suddenly took more interest. Not bothered by the ti frame but the new plug 4 looks a good spec. Can't help thinking the frames look a bit fugly though? Mainly round the rear wheel

All lovely bikes and worthy contenders for N+! (said the Enigma Etape owner :okay:).

I'll just throw in one question for you to consider -- if you're looking at commuting / baby toting duties, have a think about how comfortable you will be with locking up a new bike of this calibre out of your line of sight for any length of time, assuming you do not have 100% secure parking at work / shopping / nursery?

Just a thought for you to ponder.

It's a thought. At work there's a shed with a padlock, but it only has bars, so people see in, and could be defeatable.
If I had my own office I'd happily carry it up the stairs every day.

I'll think about that, as it's a chunk of asset to be left out of sight all day.

Resurrecting this thread, I think I'm set on getting a Charge Plug 5.
Looks like a cracking price (relatively speaking) for the spec, and ticks all of my requirements.
