I've done them at work, they're all variations on the same thing. .Something to do on a sleepless night...sorry I meant just answering the OP
Just had a look at mine...grub screw at the back of the tap head...just another variation as stated by others earlier.

Don't forget to isolate the mains water first and turn off boiler if Combi.

When I had trouble with my taps in the bathrrom I just replaced them.Glad I did,they were full of limescale.

Following the vid, thanks @gbb , I unscrewed the lift lever, using padded molegrips to crack the seal. Sure enough, there's the little grubscrew!
Now I know what to do, I'll get around to it soon. Thanks folks.

No, Confucius say: don't even think of using B&Q for plumbing. Go to a Plumber's Merchants, where not only will the stuff be better, almost certainly cheaper, but best of all you get free advice from people who know what they're talking about.

Our 1/4 turn ceramic cartridge taps suffer quite badly from limescale damage.

Local plumbers merchant was the answer after the big DIY chain said we had to replace the complete tap (£100 a pair vs £10 for a cartridge..).
