OK - appreciate your opinions advice on this as I've yet to decide - hoping the answer should be obvious to me.
Inhibition a choice of 2 groups for my bike-build. Both are used but in very sound cosmetic/mechanical condition given their respective ages.
1. Ultegra 6600 (10sp) possibly with DA 7800 rear mech
2. Tiagra 4700 (10sp)

Is it a case of 6 of 1...... given the quality of Ultegra Vs newness of Tiagra

TIA

Pecking order wins it for me.

Thanks all - it seems like I wasn't a complete numpty for seeking advice as I wasn't sure which one. I've plumped for the Tiagra given its newness, slightly keener price and the fact it's a matching group which matches the frame colour.

Many thanks for all your input - it seems perhaps it was a '6 of 1' choice

There's a storm brewing over at an audio forum - some stupid **** conducted ABX blind tests on a $30 and $3000 piece of audio equipment and the experts couldn't detect a difference:eek:.

I'll bet much the same applies to bike gear.
