My daughter has asked me how she can get rid of all the Chomery when she wants to watch YouTube fullscreen. All the stuff at the top & bottom here:

I have no idea, and my googled fumbling hasn't brought any answers. I was hoping someone hereabouts would be able to give me the doubtless really simple & obvious solution so I can pass it on to her. Thanks if you can.

Would pressing the F11 key work? I really don't know ..... but worth a try.

You should ask my 4 yr old grandson - took me ages to work out how to get it back again after they left. I think it was the f11 key that did the trick as above says.

There are 2 or3 icons bottom right of YouTube window. One of them goes full screen. ESC key exits.

Alt+enter also goes full screen on many programs
Unfortunately that seems to leave her with the clutter. As, apparently, does F11. Dammit. These things drive me nuts! Any other suggestions?...

You could try pasting the url into a fresh page, that may work

Full-screen works fine for me in Chrome. You might want to check what add-ons you have enabled. There's a lot of clutter at the top.
