Hi all, sorry for being thick with this and thanks in advance .

I have the basic subscription to the ridewithgps app. I use it to get the voice cues which I listen to on my android phone ( recently started to use it with a bluetooth ear piece which is brilliant).
There is this file available on the Bike-Events website.

But how do I get the file into the app?

If I understand your question correctly (and at this time of night, that is far from certain) what you want is to generate the audible turn-by-turn directions which will allow you follow the route.

This page suggests that it's possible to do that, but it isn't done automatically by the site. The page explains the workaround, which doesn't look like a quick or straightforward process.

You won't need the GPS guidance on the day. If the marshalling is up to the usual standard then there will be arrows and people directing you at every turn and you will be riding with lots of other riders heading the same way too. Use your GPS to record your ride for post-match analysis and simply enjoy the ride on the day. Looking forward to hearing about how you get on, I have forgotten what it was like to be feared of doing 100 miles, 99% of my rides are 10 miles only, 10 to work and 10 back, so I can't claim to be a big miles pro like some.
