I would like to buy a nos steel road bike. For club rides and competing in long distance events. I ride an old 57cm (c-c both) frame at the moment (early 90s Reynolds 708 tubing), but it feels sluggish and corners rather bad. Anyway, I was offered a frame with the following dimensions:
57 c-t seat tube
57 c-c top tube
73.5 seat tube angle
I am 181cm, so just over 5'11
75 kg
Torso 25.6'
Inseam 33.8'
Do you think a 57 frame is alright for a guy like me? I am a bit hesitant since I keep wondering whether a shorter frame (55) might improve handling in the corners/descending...
