I have been asked to rate a Spesh rockhopper comp disc 2009 womens bike on offer at £600.First bike for this female.Is it a good buy.On another forum advise was try to find a 2008 model.Nearly same spec but much cheaper.All comments welcome.

Discounted rockhoppers in popular sizes tend to go very quickly, if you can find an 08 go for it but you'll need to be quick (if not already too late).

Handbuilt high end Lx / 717 wheels instead of Specialized own brand

It all depends on what she wants the bike for.
